The cemetery is located on the UAH campus behind Morton Hall. -
Headstone of Lewellen Jones.
This headstone is located in the Jones family cemetery behind Morton Hall. The headstone notes that Jones was a captain in the 1st Regiment of the Light Dragoons in the Revolutionary War. There is some dispute as to whether Jones is actually buried there. -

Madison Hall was demolished in 2015. The Student Services Building is now located on the site. -

Perrault was the director of the UAH Library at the time. Rudolph had retired from NASA from 1969 and von Braun was then working as Deputy Associate Administrator of NASA in Washington, D.C. The UAH Library purchased the Willy Ley Collection from Ley's widow, Olga, in 1970. -

The forum included a scholarship presentation and awards dinner given by the National Space Club. Special guests were musician John Denver, Apollo 17 astronaut Harrison Schmitt, and engineer Ernst Stuhlinger. -

The Book Nook was the original name of the UAH Bookstore. After her resignation as Librarian in 1968, Christel McCanless acted as a consultant for the Book Nook in the 1970s. -

The back of the photo reads: "L to R Christel L. McCanless, First UAH Lib'n H. Clyde Reeves, VP and Representative of Freedom Shrine Program given to UAH Lib." The Freedom Shrine is a collection of historic American documents and a program of the National Exchange Club. It was donated to the UAH Library, then located in the Graduate Studies Building (later named Madison Hall), by the Exchange Club of Huntsville and Thiokol Chemical Corporation. -
