St. Benet Paul's Wharf.
St. Benet Paul's Wharf dates back to the 12th century in London. It was rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren after it was destroyed in 1666 due to the London Fire. It is one of the few churches that was sparred during the Blitz in World War II. Today, it is a Welsh Anglican Church. -
St. Paul's Cathedral.
St. Paul's Cathedral dates back to 604. It was destroyed in 1666 due to the London Fire. Sir Christopher was contracted to rebuild the Cathedral as part of the Commission to rebuild London's churches. It was completed in 1711. -
St. Martin-within-Ludgate.
St. Martin-within-Ludgate is a medieval church that dates back to 1437. It was destroyed in 1666 due to the London Fire. Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt it in 1684 and it remains largely unchanged. -
Information Board in London.

It discusses how Sir Christopher Wren, the architect of St. Paul's, wanted to feature a pineapple in the Cathedral because it is a symbol of peace, prosperity, and hospitality. Eastern Pediment Parthenon Sculpture
Eastern pedimental sculpture from the Parthenon depicts the birth of Athena from the head of Zeus. Much of the sculpture from the ancient structure is severely damaged from the passage of time, as well as an explosion, which occurred inside the Parthenon in 1687, as a result of the Turks storing gunpowder inside of the structure. The freestanding sculptures are currently on display in Room 18 of the British Museum in London, England. -
Frieze from the Parthenon
The British Museum currently has 247 feet (75 m.) of the original Parthenon frieze within their permanent collection. The frieze was the sculpted high-relief, which adorned the upper part, or naos of the Parthenon. In the exhibit space, each section of the frieze has a placard, which describes the scene depicted on the section of frieze as well as the cardinal direction and number in the frieze series. The marble frieze, which dates c. 438- 432 BC, depicts a Panathenaic procession. -
Metopes from the Parthenon
The British Museum currently has fifteen of the ninety-two the original Parthenon metopes within their permanent collection. The metopes, which decorated the exterior of the temple, just above the exterior colonnade depicted a mythological battle between the Lapiths and the centaurs. Many of the metopes are missing hands, feet, knees, arms, and legs. -

At the National Portrait Gallery, there is a painting of Sir Christopher Wren. Wren was the King's Surveyor of Works following the Great Fire of 1666. He was heavily involved in the rebuilding of 51 parishes in London after the fire. -

There are many different versions of the Magna Carta. This is version is the first ever version, signed by King John in Runnymede in 1215. William Marshal had significant influence in the signing of this version. -
Temple Church in London
Temple Church was opened in 1185, and became the stronghold of the Knights Templar order in England. Today it serves as the final resting place for William Marshal alongside notable Templar leaders. Most of the building remains as it was in the 12th century with significant restoration taking place after "The Blitz" in World War II. -
Effigy Tomb of William Marshal
William Marshal, first earl of Pembroke, died in 1219 as King regent. Subsequently, because of his commitment to the Templers cause in the Holy Land, and his loyalty to the English royal family, he was buried in Temple Church with great honor. His effigy tomb, despite being partially destroyed during "The Blitz," remains untouched in Temple Church. -

The Church often holds history events about William Marshal's life, has William Marshal exhibits, and sells William Marshal merchandise. Kings often replaced their signatures with their royal seals on official documents. This particular seal of King John was to certify The Articles of the Barons, the final settlement becoming The Magna Carta. -

British Airways Concorde nose from front exit stairs
The Concorde is the world's first supersonic commercial aircraft. Due to maintenance costs and noise issues, the plane was retired in 2003. Since then, Concorde has become a British icon. Exhibits such as this one at Brooklands Museum share a goal of presenting the innovation and passenger experience of Concorde. -

ONERA is a French aerospace research center, and this is a demonstration of the aerodynamics of Concorde via an ONERA model. In order to break the sound barrier, the fuselage was created to be needle-like, and the long wings were incredibly thin, making Concorde exceptionally aerodynamic. -
Concorde droop nose drawings and prototypes
Due to the nature of aerodynamic changes at supersonic speeds, Concorde's nose had to have a needle-like design to be aerodynamic enough to break the sound barrier. However, this design presented problems in visibility. This led to the iconic adjustable "droop nose" design, where the high-nose configuration was used when cruising for better aerodynamics, and the low-nose configuration was used during landing for better visibility. This source shows prototypes of the nose design and drawings of multiple nose configurations. -
