Letter to James M. Adams, C. C. Clay, and William Acklen from Abner Tate.
This letter, written on September 4, 1855, contains information regarding several murders the occurred at the [sic] House between 1841 and 1846, as reported by D. H. Bingham. He further details the arrest and imprisonment of a Mr. John Gordon in relation to the murders, and his appearing in court. Possible information regarding the burial of the murdered men are offered in the letter as well. The letter ends with Abner Tate discussing the validity of certain confessions as many "delight" in "destroying the reputations of others." -
Note to Moore's Statement.
The Note to Moore's Statement was signed A.T., alluding to the possibility that Abner Tate wrote this. The note discusses the testimony of Mrs. Willis and Colonal Sheid regarding a search for Sawyer, one of the murdered men. It traces Sawyer's known whereabouts prior to him going missing. The note claims that A.T. had never heard of Sawyer or Rein, the second victim, until August 1855. -
Special Orders for combined field training in the Carolina Maneuver Area.
These orders from the 1147th Engineer Combat Group called for Major Edwin D. Burwell Jr. and five other men to make "necessary reconnaissance and preliminary arrangements in connection with combined field training" in the Carolina Manuever Area. -
Correspondence concerning the "POM Eligibility of Officer Recently Returned From Overseas Theatre."
In this correspondence, 1st Lieutenant Wallace M. Telford writes to the commanding general at Fort McPherson in Georgia about Edwin D. Burwell Jr. He requests information on the eligibility of returning Major Burwell, who has recently returned from the Italian Campaign, to service overseas within six months of his return. -

Various documents regarding the financial state of Textile Hardwood Manufacturing Company from 1931 to 1935, after which the company filed for bankruptcy. The final three documents are from 1942, after bankrupcty was filed, settling final debts and fees due to I. Schiffman & Company. -

This is a Steubenville Pottery Company catalog of Queensware and glassware items. A picture of the Harrison Brothers' No. 35 Special is on page 7 and the No. 30 special is on page 9 of the catalog. Other items include the Lois, Roswell, and Avalon toilet sets in various colors, Fruit Bowls, Salad plates, the Ethel Dinner Service in various colors, Cuspidores, Celery dishes, Chop dishes, Princess Jardinieres, lamps, lamp burners, clocks, and knives. -

Lawsuit against Tom Toney.
These documents detail a lawsuit brought against Tom Toney by Mitchell & Mitchell Automobile Repairing. The first IOU details Tom Toney's debt to I. Schiffman & Co. for a Dodge car for $60. Following the check is a bill for repairs on the Dodge totalling $28.25. Tom Toney's car was seized upon discovery it was being used to "convey spiritous or vinous liquor contrary to law", resulting in a lawsuit brought by the State of Alabama. The statement is Mitchell & Mitchell claiming that Toney never paid his auto repair bill for the lawsuit. The back of the final letter has a handwritten note that reads: "No. 683 State vs. Toney. Claim of Mitchell & Mitchell. Filed June 11/19 F. S. Cabaniss Reg." -
