Moran Hall, located at Campus Rd, Huntsville, AL, was built in the 1930's. The building houses faculty offices and classrooms for the Department of History and Political Science and the Department of English and Foreign Languages.
The Beirne Home is located at 300 Williams Ave SE Huntsville. It was built by the second Governor of the state of Alabama and is now a private residence owned by the Bentley family.
St. Mary of the Visitation Catholic Church was built in 1877 and has gradually expanded over the years. The church still stands today and has an associated school. The surrounding area has gone from a relatively empty small town to the bustling downtown Huntsville it is today.
Parkway Place Mall, found at 2801 Memorial Pkwy SW, Huntsville, AL, is a two-story enclosed mall. The modern building was opened in 2002, but the mall first opened in 1957 as an open-air strip mall named Parkway Shopping Center. This picture shows it from the outside upper parking deck, with one of its roadside signs in the top left.
The Conrad Swanson Observatory, located at 100 Observatory Dr SE in Huntsville, is owned and operated by the Von Braun Astronomical Society. The Swanson Observatory was built in 1956 and has had many additions and changes to it.
