The directory provides the telephone numbers for the divisions of the university. The name, title, office telephone number, office location, home address, and home telephone number are given for the faculty and staff individually. -

First clip shows some of the construction on the house, namely a worker digging a trench into the house as well as other workers modifying the electric lines to serve their new house. The rest of the film shows the Dannenberg Family (Konrad, Klaus, Ingeborg) looking over plans for what the house is eventually going to look like. Winter 1958. -
"First House Construction Sequence."
Film opens showing a lot for sale on Crescent Drive, location unknown. Later, Konrad, Klaus, and Ingeborg Dannenberg arrive to inspect the lot. After parking, they walk over to an area that has been staked out and roped off, presumably the site of some future construction. Konrad Dannenberg's notes on the side of the film box read, "1) General View of the Lot 2) IMK arrives in Rambler 3) Klaus and Peabody on Lot 4) Gen'l. shots of House Location. Film fair, needs explan." 1958. -
"Fort Bliss Old Timers: A Progress Report."
Subtitled "Some of the Old Timers' Contributions to the Science of Space," this booklet commemorates the accomplishments of the group of engineers posted at Fort Bliss, Texas, beginning in 1945. It includes a brief history of rocket development in Germany from 1929 through 1944, photographs of the 1965 Old Timers Reunion, and a directory of the oldtimers. It also includes a transcript of a speech given by Wernher von Braun in honor of Walter Dornberger's retirement. -
"Frances Cabaniss Roberts: Her Life and Legacy."
This virtual talk includes a lecture from Dr. Tom Reidy, editor of the 2020 edition of Frances Roberts' 1956 dissertation, with comments and moderation by UAH Head of Archives and Special Collections Reagan Grimsley and History Department Chair Stephen Waring. The talk was given as part of an Alabama Humanities Alliance grant, in partnership with the UAH M. Louis Salmon Library, the UAH Humanities Center, and the UAH History Department. -

Right: U.S. Army JUPITER Missile. The JUPITER Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile is being developed at the Army Ballistic Missile Agency, Huntsville. Ala. It is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead to a distance of 1500 nautical miles. -

"Hotel Monte Sano."
The hotel opened on June 1, 1887 as a luxury health resort. It was built by the North Alabama Improvement Company with funding from Michael and James O'Shaughnessy. The hotel closed in 1900 and was demolished in 1944. -

The first half of this film shows the outside of the Dannenbergs' new house being painted. Also shown are Konrad, Ingeborg and Klaus inspecting the new dwelling. The latter half of the film shows the construction crew digging a path for a pipe to be run into the building, presumably for septic waste. Fall 1958. -
