    This film shows the starting work on the Dannenbergs' new house. They first chop down and burn all of the foliage that's growing where the house will be. Then a construction crew comes in and grades the site. The final shot shows Konrad and Klaus Dannenberg marking the corners of the new house. Konrad Dannenberg's notes on the film box read, "1) Cleaning of House Area, Tommy + Klaus 2) Grading w/ Digger (IMK) 3) Woodburning + chopping 4) [illegible] and hose w/ transit 5)Ko and Klaus setting up corners. Very good film!" Summer 1958.

The document provides clarification of certain administrative roles, including those of Finance Officer Earl Jacoby, Assistant to the Vice President and Director of Community Relations Philip M. Mason, and Director of Instruction Charley Scott. The order also outlines the structure of academic departments, roles of department chairs, and the organization of the Research Institute. It includes an organizational chart of the university, and pencilled notes have been added by then-head librarian Christel L. McCanless.

    The program dedicates three new Huntsville schools, each named for a member of the Apollo crew that died in the pad fire of February 21, 1967. This program was included in one of two scrapbooks that Christel and George McCanless made for UAH history professor Frances Roberts in 1969.

    The O'Shaughnessy Place, nicknamed "Castle Delight," was built in 1885 by Col. James and Lucy O'Shaughnessy. It was a two-story Queen Anne-style house with four chimneys, gas lights, water lines, and indoor plumbing. Col. O'Shaughnessy was a cotton and real estate broker, seaport and railroad developer, and co-owner of the Huntsville Hotel, Huntsville Opera House, Hotel Monte Sano, and the Monte Sano Railway and Turnpike. The house burned in March 1890 and was demolished in the 1920s.

    The photo shows the owner, Henry Fuller, with his family outside the cave entrance. Fuller purchased the cave in 1888 and developed it into an underground dance hall and bar. The cave is near current-day Pulaski Pike in Huntsville.
