This page lists several transactions of customers without customer accounts, two of which, Ada Reynolds and M.V. Taylor are recurring customers and employees of local cotton mills. Customers on this page bought various Queensware products and paid by cash and by note. Many of the customers on this page are women. -

This is a copy of a Huntsville newspaper advertisement for Lawrence Village. This advertisement detailed where Lawrence Village was and promoted the rapidly expanding community built by Huntsville Land Co. The text at the end of the advertisement states "For further information concerning Lawrence, apply to Oscar Goldsmith, Pres. Huntsville Land Co." Lawrence was the name of Oscar Goldsmith's son. -

Agreement for the installation of galvanized roofing on a cotton shed occupied and rented by Gilbert Bros. from I. Schiffman and Co. at the request of Bettie Schiffman. Bettie's name appears on documents after July 1910 due to the death of her husband, Isaac. -

Airflow through the (Concorde) power plant
Demonstration of airflow throughout Concorde power plant in different stages of flight. As the Concorde's engine could only use air flowing at about 300 miles per hour at the fastest, the power plant includes adjustable ramps to slow down airflow from Concorde's top speed of ~1300 mph to a usable range. Also include reverse thrust demonstrations. -

GRAY GANDER, once rated the world's fastest horse and winner of a $20,000 purse (not a small amount in the 1800's), raced and worked out here. Many notables, including President James Monroe, President James K. Polk and Andrew Jackson, gathered here for rest and diversion. -

The full-size Apollo Saturn V moon rocket is one of the feature attractions at the Alabama Space and Rocket Center. The five huge rocket engines develop seven and one half million pounds of thrust and consume propellents at the rate of 5,000 gallons per second. The complete vehicle - longer than a baseball field - can be viewed close up by the visitor. The Alabama Space and Rocket Center tells the story of man's past, present, and future efforts to explore space for peaceful purposes. -

This moon rock sample is displayed at Earth's largest space exhibit. It was collected on the moon by Apollo II astronauts. It is believed to be over 3 billion years old, and weighs 4.9 ounces.
