The flood was caused by a broken pipe. Community Housing was located at the corner of Lancewood Drive and University Drive. The Twin Oaks Apartments can be seen in the background.
The caption on the back reads, "ANNOUNCING SPERRY GIFT TO UAH-- Governor George C. Wallace (seated) seen above announcing the Sperry Corporation's gift to the University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH) of $3.2 million in computer hardware and software.
